Sterling silver chain necklace with African trade beads and a Hubei turquoise pendant.
The chain is a fine oval link, oxidized for contrast. The front section is strung with bright red glass trade beads, with a few turquoise beads worked into the strand.
A small Hubei turquoise stone hangs at center, set in sterling silver. The pendant is removable.
On the back, a hand-sawed star is soldered in place and stamped with my maker’s mark.
Wear it with the drop, without it, or layered with other chains.
