Forensic Tarot: Foundations

Most tarot courses start by teaching you what the cards mean.  This one starts earlier.

Forensic Tarot: Foundations is a free introductory course in the method behind Forensic Tarot.  You'll work with the difference between what is actually visible in a tarot card and what you add when you interpret it.  That sounds simple until you try it with a card you already know.  Traditional meanings, assumptions, information from the question, inference, and intuition can enter a reading so quickly that it becomes difficult to tell where the card ended and the reader began.

You'll work through an introduction, a full lecture, an exercise using the Rider-Waite-Smith Seven of Swords, a case analysis, and a model response.  This isn't a collection of tarot keywords and it won't teach you what seventy-eight cards are supposed to mean.  It assumes you already know the basics of tarot and are ready to examine how you reach the conclusions you make when you read.

The course is free.  It's also complete.  You don't need to purchase the full Forensic Tarot course to finish the work or get the answer to the exercise.  Foundations is designed to teach one part of the method properly so you can decide whether this way of working belongs in your tarot practice.
