Forensic Tarot Module 2: Visual Grammar

Knowing what a tarot card is supposed to mean is not the same as understanding what the image is doing. Visual Grammar teaches you to stop treating the picture as decoration and start reading it as evidence. The card controls the interpretation, not the keyword you hoped would fit.

Module Two examines how direction and posture work with spacing and composition to shape the story inside a card. You will learn to track the relationships in the image, decide which details actually matter and remove conclusions the scene cannot support. The result is a specific interpretation with a visible chain of reasoning behind it.

You will receive downloadable PDFs containing the written lecture and guided exercise. Complete the exercise first, then work through the case analysis before opening the model response. This sequence lets you test your own reasoning instead of reading mine and convincing yourself you would have reached the same conclusion.

This module is for readers who know basic card meanings but still reach for a keyword when the image becomes complicated. No academic background is required, but passive reading will not get you very far. You will be expected to observe closely, explain your choices and show your work.
